Volunteers are an integral part of Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and are involved in a wide range of activities, from our ‘frontline’ service in the drop-in centre to ‘back office’ administrative support. Volunteers also help fundraise and maintain our gardens.
The commitment and dedication they show are hugely valued. Some volunteer roles require a regular commitment, offer greater flexibility about when and how often you volunteer. Whatever your interests we’d like to hear from you!

Volunteers who work on a regular basis will need to attend mandatory training courses (eg Health & Safety) and we are required by law to have Occupational Health Clearance, personal references and disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
