General information and advice about the Trust’s emergency department services
ADHD and ADD
ADHD Services are provided by specialist neurodevelopmental paediatricians, child psychiatrists and ADHD specialist nurses who regularly assess, diagnose, treat and manage children/young people with ADHD/ADD.
Audiology
Audiology is concerned with the science of hearing and balance, particularly diagnostic testing and the rehabilitation of hearing-impaired individuals. Audiologists perform tests for patients in ENT clinics and Audiological medicine.

The Breast Imaging department is in the Vicki Adkins Breast Unit at the QEII Hospital.
Cardiology
We deal with all conditions affecting the heart, including coronary artery disease (the cause of angina and heart attacks), heart valve disease, heart rhythm disturbances (arrhythmias), heart muscle problems (e.g. heart failure) and high blood pressure (hypertension).
