The emergency department at the Lister Hospital is also known as accident and emergency or A&E.
ADHD Services are provided by specialist neurodevelopmental paediatricians, child psychiatrists and ADHD specialist nurses who regularly assess, diagnose, treat and manage children/young people with ADHD/ADD.
Our ambulatory care service at the New QEII Hospital provides rapid care, assessment and treatment for a range of conditions without the need for admission to hospital.
Our anticoagulation clinics support people who take blood thinning medication.
Audiology is concerned with the science of hearing and balance, particularly diagnostic testing and the rehabilitation of hearing-impaired individuals. Audiologists perform tests for patients in ENT clinics and Audiological medicine.
The Bereavement and Mortuary Service provides practical information and support and arranges for the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death to be issued by a doctor when a loved one dies in hospital. There is further information available for a death at home from the Mortuary and Bereavement staff.
