The Trust has worked with AccessAble to provide a detailed guide for all of our departments, wards and services at the Lister – which includes information on lighting, signage, doors, ramps and more.
AccessAble takes the chance out of going out. To give you the detailed information you need to work out if a place is going to be accessible to you.
Its Detailed Access Guides tell you all about a venue’s access. They are 100% facts, figures and photographs.

When you are in hospital, the Health Liaison Team will support you to ensure you have specialised information for your needs and will work with staff to ensure reasonable adjustments are made and that you are made to feel safe and cared for.
To enable better awareness of our patients with Learning Disability we have introduced the wearing of a purple wristband. The ward staff and health liaison team will offer you the choice to wear a purple wristband if you wish.
