The different devices that might be used
This video explains the different devices that may be used in your treatment such as a cannula (small plastic tube that is put into a vein in your lower arm or in the back of your hand) a PICC (a thin and flexible tube that is put into a vein in your upper arm) or an implanted port (a thin and flexible tube) attached to a small reservoir or ‘port’ which is placed under the skin on your chest or arm.
