Your contact of employment will detail your annual leave and public holiday entitlements, and will take into account any previous NHS service or long service entitlements that you may have accrued.
You should discuss your annual leave entitlement with your line manager and ensure that you are aware of your team’s protocols around the taking of annual leave.
Most of our teams record their annual leave on E-Roster, our electronic rostering system, and you will be given information on how to request your leave.
In addition to annual leave, there is a range of different types of leave which can be found on the Knowledge Centre, our intranet site, when you join us. These range from compassionate leave to longer term career breaks.
