Our plastic surgery team is based at the Lister. We care for patients with a variety of emergency, urgent and elective problems. We treat many patients – including children – with traumatic injuries, especially to hands.

Radiologists use images to diagnose, treat and manage medical conditions and diseases.

The centre’s radiotherapy service includes a multi-disciplinary team of clinical oncologists, specialist registrars, consultant radiographers, advanced nurse and AHP practitioners, therapeutic radiographers, radiotherapy physicists and clinical technologists and administrators.

The Rapid Diagnostic Service (RDS) is a new clinic that has been set up to investigate vague symptoms that may be a sign of a number of conditions, including cancer.

The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust Rheumatology department specialises in the management of musculoskeletal disorders which include inflammatory forms of arthritis, connective tissue diseases and soft tissue musculoskeletal conditions.

Some patients may require an overnight sleep study to determine if they have obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS). You do not need to stay in hospital overnight – our sleep unit offers a home sleep study service (domicillary).
