An aneurysm is a dilatation of the blood vessel, such as an artery or vein. If it dilates excessively, the vessel can rupture leading to life-threatening haemorrhage, or create blood clots occluding distal vessels.
We offer both open and the less invasive endovascular (EVAR) surgical techniques for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). We also offer both open and endovascular techniques for iliac, femoral and popliteal aneurysms and rarer aneurysms too. We undertake both elective and emergency aneurysmal surgery.
