Athens is an authentication system that the NHS uses to provide you with a username and password to access the wealth of electronic resources that are available to NHS staff and students. If you don’t have an NHS Athens account already, you will need to register online for one. This is a two-part process:
- Fill in the online form and submit it
- You’ll then receive an email requiring you to click on an activation link and compose a password
If you start working for the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust but are registered with an NHS Athens account from another NHS organisation, you will need to transfer your account to the Trust. Please contact our Athens administrator for assistance (01438 285520 or email@example.com).
