Plastic surgery

Our plastic surgery team is based at the Lister. We care for patients with a variety of emergency, urgent and elective problems. We treat many patients – including children – with traumatic injuries, especially to hands.

We deal with a large number of skin cancer cases and host the specialist skin cancer multi-disciplinary team for the Trust. We also undertake a significant number of breast reconstructions in patients who have undergone mastectomy surgery. This is in addition to the treatment of a number of other conditions which require the input of plastic and reconstructive surgeons.

We are based on level 11 in Lister Hospital’s main tower block, which includes our dedicated ward (11B), dressing clinic, outpatient clinic, secretaries offices and the James Emerson conference room.
