Hertfordshire Perinatal Trauma and Loss Care (P-TLC) (you can access their website here)
P-TLC is a psychology-led, county-wide specialist service for women and birthing people, who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties as a direct result of a:
- perinatal loss of any kind (e.g., fertility difficulties, miscarriage at any stage of gestation, terminations for any reason, still birth and infant loss)
- birth trauma/adverse maternity experiences
- severe birthing-related anxiety (tokophobia)
The service is welcome to adults (18+ years) from all backgrounds, cultures, and identities who are registered with a Hertfordshire GP Practice. They aim to develop an accessible and inclusive resource that is sensitive to the unique needs of each service user.
Twins Trust
Supporting all parents and carers of twins, triplets or more who have died whether it was during or after pregnancy.
They offer a peer-to-peer befriending service, social media support groups and resources.
