The midwife-led unit at the Lister hospital has been developed to offer a home from home environment for women in good general health with an uncomplicated pregnancy to have their baby.

Gloucester ward is the postnatal ward at the Lister Diamond Jubilee Maternity Unit in Stevenage.

Dacre ward provides care for antenatal women who require admission during their pregnancy.

The consultant-led unit provides consultant-led delivery suites and is mainly for women or babies experiencing complications during pregnancy or labour, or for women who have medical problems requiring specialist care.
