Access to the car park
The new main public car park is accessed from Howlands.
Parking
Parking charges at New QEII Hospital will be reintroduced from Thursday 1 October, after confirmation that government funding for the scheme will continue to this point.
This means that the normal parking charges listed below will apply.
There is a 20-minute drop-off zone outside the Urgent Care Centre and Howlands Clinic entrances for people who aren’t able to walk very far and we have reserved spaces for people displaying a blue badge within the main car park.
The New QEII features a pay-on-exit car park when charging. The pay point is situated next to the main hospital entrance. The pay point accepts cash and card payments.
Parking Charges
- 0 – 15 minutes in drop-off zones only free of charge
- 0 – 2 hours £3.40
- 2 – 5 hours £5.30
- 5 – 24 hours £7.70
