Access to the car park
The new main public car park is accessed from Howlands.
Parking at New QEII Hospital will continue to be free until the end of August, after confirmation that government funding for the scheme will continue to this point.
This means that the normal parking charges listed below are due to be reintroduced from Tuesday 1 September.
There is a 20-minute drop-off zone outside the Urgent Care Centre and Howlands Clinic entrances for people who aren’t able to walk very far and we have reserved spaces for people displaying a blue badge within the main car park.
The New QEII features a pay-on-exit car park when charging. The pay point is situated next to the main hospital entrance. The pay point accepts cash and card payments.
