Car parking
Parking options
We do have a pay and display car park (cash only), however there are limited spaces and on busy days it can be difficult to find a space. There is a drop-off area by the hospital’s main entrance and we have reserved spaces for people with a disability parking permit.
Parking charges (pay and display)
On Sunday 1 September 2024, parking prices for patients and visitors at Hertford County Hospital will increase.
The Saba team, who manage parking at this site, review their prices every September and adjust them in line with inflation. Please see below for our current prices

Why we charge for parking
The Trust doesn’t seek to make a profit from parking at any of our hospital sites. Any money that we make from car parks goes back into maintaining our parking facilities.
We believe NHS money should be spent on treating patients. If we do not charge for parking, money intended for patient care will have to be used to provide and maintain parking facilities on the site.
Blue badges
Blue Badge holders do not need to pay for parking.
When parking at our site, please place your blue badge on your dashboard or somewhere where it can clearly be read through the front windscreen.
