Members of the public and staff are welcome to attend any of the Trust’s public Board meetings.
Meeting venues and dates
Public board meetings take place on a Wednesday starting at 9.30am unless specified otherwise. The venues for the meetings take place at any of our sites, which are Lister Hospital, Hertford County Hospital, New QEII Hospital and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Meetings may also be held online. The dates for 2024 are:

- 11 September – TBC
- 13 November – Online (Teams link to be published nearer the time)

We ask that you submit your question to the Trust Secretary at least 48 hours before the start of the meeting. Normally each person will be allowed to make just one statement or ask one question under the agenda item titled ‘Questions from the Public’.
Questions not submitted in advance or complex questions that require research, data retrieval or analysis may be deferred and responded to in writing or answered at a future Board meeting.
The decision of the Chair of the Board meeting on whether to accept a question and how it should be answered is final.
Board meetings take place in public for transparency, except for matters of a confidential nature which take place in private session. Board meetings are meetings in public rather than public meetings.
