Our Trust provide mobility equipment to our patients that require them. All mobility equipment, including metal walking sticks, crutches and walking frames, can be returned to our Trust by patients when they no longer have any need for it.

All mobility equipment, including metal walking sticks, crutches and walking frames, can be returned to our Trust by patients when they no longer have any need for it.

As part of the NHS Green Initiative, our Trust is aiming to have 40% of all our mobility equipment recycled by 2025.

The drop-off locations for mobility equipment across the Trust are as follows:

  • Lister Hospital – Strathmore wing entrance (near Gate 1)
  • Hertford County – main reception
  • New QEII – main reception
