The Health at Work Service provides occupational health services for East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust staff, other NHS trusts and organisations across the region. The service is proud to have successfully achieved the Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS) Accreditation.
Our service is proud to protect and promote your health and well-being. We provide impartial advice to managers and employees to optimise health at work, reduce sickness absence and prevent work-related ill health.
The team comprises consultant physicians, advisors, nurses, administrative and customer service staff with a range of skills to accommodate and meet the requirements of your department or organisation.
The services provided include (although not an exhaustive list):
- New employee work health assessments
- Advice on fitness for work
- Workplace assessments
- Well-being promotion events
- Sharps and splash injury advice
- Occupational immunisations
A counselling, support and advice service is available for East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust staff.
