East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust has been shortlisted for Trust of the Year at the prestigious 2025 HSJ Awards. This national recognition celebrates the exceptional work, dedication, and innovation of our teams in improving care for the communities we serve.
East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust chief executive Adam Sewell-Jones said:
“Being shortlisted for this award is a real honour and a testament to the dedication, skill, and compassion shown by every single member of our trust. Together, we’ve made meaningful improvements for our patients, and this recognition reflects that shared effort.
“Our ambition goes beyond delivering consistently excellent clinical care – we want to ensure every aspect of a patient’s experience is the best it can be, from booking an appointment and finding your way, to receiving follow-up information and support.
“While we know there is still much more to do, we remain fully committed to making healthcare better for the communities we serve.”
HSJ Editor Alastair McLellan added:
“On behalf of all my colleagues, it gives me great pleasure to congratulate East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust on being shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Trust of the Year.
“All of the applications represent the ‘very best of the NHS’ and often leave our panel of judges with an impossible choice. Year on year the number of entrants continues to rise, which is testament to the positive effect the HSJ Awards can have on staff culture and morale.
“We look forward to welcoming our finalists to the ceremony in November to celebrate their achievements, share best practice, and recognise the hard work of NHS staff all year round.”
Winners will be announced at the HSJ Awards ceremony on 20 November 2025 in London – an event that celebrates excellence in healthcare, showcases innovation, and recognises the people and projects improving outcomes for patients nationwide.
