  This team have delivered high-quality, person-centred care by embedding the HNA into routine practice, ensuring care is extended beyond medical treatment alone. The active implementation of the HNA has meant patients feel heard, supported and involved in decisions about their care.

  This specialist team of dedicated volunteer midwives delivers exceptional 1:1 care to families experiencing baby loss from 16 weeks. This team transforms an unbearably painful experience into one held with tenderness, dignity and love.

This year’s Here To Help Award finalists are:

• Alison Williams
  Alison’s ability to turn a hand to any project is such a help to the Mount Vernon team and ensures everything is completed to a high standard. Her support in the execution of four ‘Moor Park 10 & More’ events helped raise over £250,000 for MVCC.

  In 2025, the team had played a vital role in monitoring fridge and ward temperatures, ensuring medicines remain safe, effective, and not wasted – crucial in today’s NHS economic climate.

  Diana went above and beyond to support two patients – helping one terminally ill patient’s wife see him in time to say goodbye and giving another patient a final joyful moment outside the ward.
