Extended visiting times at the Lister for Ramadan

In 2024, Ramadan began on the evening of March 10 and ends on April 9, followed by the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr.

The practice of fasting is an important part of Ramadan. This involves the complete abstinence from food, drink and smoking between dawn and sunset over the month. It’s also a time for self-reflection and evaluation.

To support members of our Muslim community, we will be extending visiting times at the Lister for Ramadan.

From Thursday 14 March to Wednesday 10 April, all visitors will be able to spend time with their loved one in hospital until 10pm.
