Patients receiving renal care across East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust now have access to a new wellbeing booklet, developed in partnership with Lister Area Kidney Patients Association (LAKPA).
Representatives from LAKPA recently visited Lister Hospital to officially launch the booklet, which has been designed to help renal patients access a range of support services and information throughout their treatment journey.
The booklet brings together details of renal services available across the trust, including information on renal social work, dietetic services, psychology support, benefits and financial advice, and peer support opportunities.
By providing practical guidance and signposting to specialist services, the booklet aims to support the wellbeing of patients living with kidney disease and help them access the advice and assistance they need.
We are grateful to LAKPA for developing this valuable wellbeing tool and we are confident it will enhance the experience of care received by our renal patients.

We hope it will enable more kidney patients to make use of the important services available to them, and we will continue to work with many colleagues within the trust to promote and develop wellbeing services.
