East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is again inviting the community to join the conversation at its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM – which takes place between 5.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday 18 September – offers an opportunity to find out about the Trust’s performance, review the past year, discuss developments and upcoming investments, system working and will celebrate the life-changing work on its Hospitals’ Charity.
The event will also look ahead to what’s next for the Trust, which runs Hertford County Hospital, Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood and the New QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City.
Members of the public will hear from Trust chair Anita Day, chief executive Adam Sewell-Jones, deputy chief executive and financial director Martin Armstrong, new medical director Dr Justin Daniels and our chief nurse, Theresa Murphy.
A video – telling the story of the Chemotherapy at Home scheme and how it enables patients to take control of their treatment – will also be played and will give opportunity to reflect on over 850 chemotherapy treatments delivered so far.
The AGM will be broadcasted live from Lister Hospital in Stevenage to allow the public to watch online, or you can attend in-person.
