There will be a new way to get in contact with the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) launching on 8 May.
Patients or carers will be able to complete an online form which will prompt them to provide all the details the team needs to be able to respond efficiently.
From 8 May patients and carers can log an enquiry via the online form, a QR code available on posters across our sites, visit the PALS page on the trust website, call on 01438 285811 or meet the team during office hours, 9am-12noon and from 1-3pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Existing enquiries will continue to be managed in the way they were submitted.
The PALS team, which offers support, information and assistance to patients, relatives and carers, is receiving a high number of enquiries which is making it difficult to respond in a timely way. Use of the form will streamline information and bring efficiency to how the team responds.
