Following a robust recruitment process, we’re delighted to announce that Dr Justin Daniels has joined East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust as our new Medical Director.
Justin is a Consultant Paediatrician and has a wealth of experience most recently as Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust and before that held various roles at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust for 18 years. Justin is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London (UCL).
This news follows Dr Michael Chilvers’ announcement in November that he’ll be stepping down as Medical Director, returning to his clinical duties in the Trust as a Consultant Anaesthetist. We’d like to thank Mike for his leadership over the last 5 years and we are delighted that he’s decided to continue his clinical work with us.
Upon his appointment, Justin said:
