Mrs Puthucode-Easwaran was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at East and North Herts NHS Trust in 2011.
She has broad experience and comprehensive training in various aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, having worked across different regions across UK and abroad in busy maternity and gynaecology units. She has worked in Specialist Maternal Medicine clinics and acquired her Special Skills Training in Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery. She has also worked as a Fellow in Northern Gynae-Oncology Centre, Gateshead, where she acquired the BSCCP accreditation skills, and, in Minimal Access Surgery in Hull.
Mrs Puthucode-Easwaran has expertise in the management of a wide range of gynaecological problems including menstrual disorders, fibroids, pelvic pain, endometriosis, subfertility, prolapse, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopausal problems and recurrent miscarriage, urinary problems.
She is able to offer minimally invasive treatments for menstrual disorders, fibroids and other gynaecological conditions. She is also the Lead Colposcopist for the Trust, ensuring guidelines are implemented, to reduce the risk of cervical cancer in our population.
