Stephen Tai is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in adult hip and knee arthroplasty and the management of complex traumatic injuries.
Having studied medicine at St Mary’s Hospital medical school, Mr Tai underwent specialist training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, Specialist Registrar rotation. He continued his sub specialty training in adult hip and knee replacement surgery on the prestigious year long fellowship with the Specialist Orthopaedic Group in Sydney, Australia. Mr Tai has also successfully completed a trauma fellowship at University Hospital, Walsgrave – one of the busiest major trauma centres in the United Kingdom.
Mr Tai has published a number of articles related to his areas of sub-specialty interest and has written book chapters on traumatic injuries.
Mr Tai is married with two children. His hobbies include golf, skiing, SCUBA diving, music and cooking.
