After thorough training in General Surgery for eight years, I did full training to Consultant level in Multi Organ transplant Surgery (Kidneys, Liver and Pancreas). Then specialised in Vascular Surgery and took the Consultant post at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust as Vascular and General Surgeon in 1998.
