Raoya Farah was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in February 2014. She was trained in the East of England deanery at hospitals including Norfolk and Norwich, Luton and Dunstable, Ipswich and Colchester and the Lister. She completed advanced training in Fertility and Gynaecology Ultrasound in centres affiliated to Bourn Hall IVF centre in Cambridge as well as labour ward practice and labour ward lead. She is a BSCCP accredited colposcopist.
She is the Lead for Fertility Services offering follicle tracking ultrasound for ovulation induction as well as laparoscopic tubal dye test and ovarian drilling operative and diagnostic hysteroscopy procedures. She also leads for Labour Ward and for the management of women with FGM in pregnancy.
She strives to provide a positive and supportive journey for patients through good communication and leading and supporting her team to provide excellent care.
