Ms Radhika Padmagirison was appointed as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in March 2013. She has obtained her specialty training in the East of England deanery including at Addenbrookes Hospital, and trained in early pregnancy and gynaecology scanning training at Kings College Hospital in London. She has advanced training skills modules in Maternal Medicine, Labour Ward and Benign Gynaecology.
She is the lead for women with medical disorders in pregnancy such as cardiac, haematological and renal problems. She has a special interest in diabetes and endocrine problems in pregnancy. She also leads the pre-conceptual counselling services for the Trust.
She also treats general gynaecological problems inclusing menstrual disorders, subfertility, fibroids and utero-vaginal prolapse. She is able to perform minimally invasive procedures for menstrual disorders and laparoscopic ovarian surgery.
