I joined the Trust as a consultant at in January 2007. I trained on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital programme before undertaking a one-year specialist fellowship in hip and knee replacement at North Shore Hospital, Auckland in 2006.
My practice at the Trust encompasses adult hip and knee surgery. I am interested particularly in adult hip problems, including revision hip surgery and sports hip problems.
Predominantly I undertake the revision and complex hip surgery in the Trust, in addition to routine hip and knee replacement and sports injury surgery such as knee arthroscopy and ACL reconstruction.
I still undertake trauma surgery although this often focuses on hip problems. I am the Trust’s orthopaedic lead for fractured neck of femur care.
Outside of work I am a keen road cyclist and enjoy cinema and music. I remain a supporter of Sheffield United, despite their fortune
