Dr Neville Kukreja is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist. He is a recognised international expert in Interventional Cardiology (angioplasty and stenting) who has been an invited speaker at prestigious meetings throughout Europe and the USA.
He undertook undergraduate studies in Cambridge and London before completing his training in London. He underwent training in Interventional Cardiology at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London and also at the world-famous Thoraxcenter in Rotterdam.
He is currently a member of British Cardiovascular Society, British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, European Society of Cardiology and European Association of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention. He is also currently the clinical cardiac lead for the East of England Cardiovascular Strategic Clinical Network, chair of the local Cardiac Network Advisory Group and the British Cardiovascular Society and Royal College of Physicians Regional Specialty Advisor.
His clinical interests are general adult cardiology with particular expertise in all aspects of percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty and stenting).
His main research interests are the evaluation of new and existing drug-eluting stents and invasive coronary imaging.
He has co-authored more than 40 original research articles and more than of more than 50 scientific abstracts which have been presented at major national and international cardiology scientific meetings.
