Dr Khan undertook specialist training in the North East Thames rotation and trained at numerous centres of excellence including Royal Free Hospital, UCLH, St Mark’s and Royal London Hospitals.
He has produced publications and numerous presentations in the field of Medical Education and Gastroenterology.
Dr Khan was awarded MD in Gastroenterology/Medical Education by UCL after a 2 year period of research at The Royal Free Hospital. He is currently a full time Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Lister and New QEII Hospitals.
Dr Khan is an experienced gastroenterologist who practices in the local area. His interests and expertise encompass all aspects of gastroenterology but his main interest is in Irritable Bowel Syndrome and bowel motility as well as performing safe, comfortable endoscopy to rule out any other pathology when appropriate.
Dr Khan’s aim is to provide a sensitive, unhurried consultation where the patient is listened to as he believes this is the most important step in making a diagnosis.
