I qualified from Bristol Medical School in 1998. I completed an MD in varicose veins from University College London in 2007.
I undertook general and vascular surgical training in North London (including Royal Free, Royal London, Charing Cross and St Mary’s Hospital). I was awarded an endovascular fellowship in 2011, working at both St George’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals. I visited the endovascular centre of Skane Hospital, Malmo, Sweden prior to my appointment as a vascular consultant with an endovascular interest in 2012 at East and North Herts NHS Trust.
I have a postgraduate certificate in medical education (Cardiff University, 2010) and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In 2011 I became a Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery and completed an ‘Endovascular University’.
I have internationally taught, lectured and published on numerous aspects of vascular and endovascular surgery.
