Subsequent clinical training at Middlesex Hospital, Addenbrookes Cambridge, Hammersmith Hospital, Radcliffe Hospital Oxford, Whittington Hospital, St Thomas’s, UCH, Kings College Hospital and National Hospital for Neurology, Queen Square. Research post for MD at MRC Unit, Hammersmith Hospital.
Consultant neurologist at Royal Free Hospital and Lister Hospital, Stevenage, since 1989. Also consultant at St Albans and Hemel Hempstead Hospitals from 1989 to 1995. Honorary senior lecturer at Royal Free Hospital Medical School since 1989.
Main professional interests are acute general medical neurology, vascular disease of the brain, cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformatations, migraine, and clinical teaching.
