Trained at University of Cape Town and qualified 1990. Specialised in General Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology at Groote Schuur Hospital and obtained FCP in 1997.
Moved to UK in 2000 and studied Diabetes and Endocrinology further at UCLH.
Have been a Consultant at Lister Hospital since 2004.
