Join us on Saturday 17 September for our open day, in celebration of 50 years of Lister Hospital.
The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust warmly invite members of the public and staff – past and present – to our open day. Celebrating the landmark 50 years of Lister Hospital since opening on 18 September 1972. Our family-friendly event encourages visitors to venture behind the scenes, with a number of exciting and interesting activities and areas to visit.
As well as meeting and learning more about our friendly and approachable therapy dogs, visitors can also interact with members of our wonderful departments through our information and activity stalls, including virtual reality (VR) simulations.
With activities for all ages, the open day offers the opportunity to learn more about Lister Hospital and NHS careers, whilst also enjoying free meat and vegetarian burgers, music and much more.
There is no registration required for this event, although registration on the day will be required for those interesting in taking part in guided, behind-the-scene tours. To register for a tour, please follow the appropriate signage at the Plaza, by the main entrance.
