Finding the hospital
Lister Hospital is located on Coreys Mill Lane in Stevenage.
If you are using a sat nav, use the postcode SG1 4AB.
Local buses serve the hospital and stop on Coreys Mill Lane. Once off the bus, had for the main entrance of the hospital and then follow the signs to the vaccination hub.
Parking is free for all those visiting the site for vaccinations at Lister Hospital – at the vaccination hub you will be given a parking voucher to take to the parking office
Enter the hospital site by Gate 5 on Coreys Mill Lane, and park in the multistorey car park.
You’ll receive a yellow chip at the barrier – keep this chip with you.
There is a drop-off area immediately after the car park barriers, or you can continue into the multistorey car park.
Directions to the vaccination hub
Once you exit your vehicle, take the lift or stairs to the ground floor of the car park. Once you exit lift and stairs area, turn right towards the main entrance to the hospital.
Before you reach the main entrance, turn right, as signed and head along the side of the multi-storey drop-off area. Follow the signs as they lead you round to the hub entrance.
This walk may take around 7 minutes depending on your speed of walking, and there is a ramp. Please let us know in advance if you will need some help – you can call us on 0333 332 4065.
What to expect
Please have your ID, parking chip and, if possible, your booking confirmation email with you when you arrive. It’s also helpful if you have your NHS number too.
You will be asked to check in and we will check your appointment details, before you are seen by a booking officer – who will enter your details on the system and will book you in for your next appointment. The booking officer will give you a parking voucher if needed.
Once checked-in, you’ll be directed to a prescribing room before you are called for vaccination.

- After your vaccination
If you have driven, you will be required to rest for 15 minutes after your jab. There is a rest area for this.
When leaving the hub you follow the same route back to the main entrance and car park.
