He performs major surgery including fertility sparing treatments for cervical, ovarian, uterine and vulval cancers at the Beds and Herts Cancer Network centre in Watford where he is the lead surgeon. He has been a BSCCP accredited colposcopist for over 20 years. He trained in minimal access and laparoscopic surgery and can perform many operations laparoscopically including treating endometriosis and performing hysterectomy.

He has been Clinical Director for Gynaecology since 2010. He works closely with clinical and managerial colleagues to ensure that our gynaecology services meet national standards and the needs of our patients to be cared for safely and effectively. He has been Chairman of the Beds and Herts Cancer Network (formerly Mount Vernon Cancer Network) since 2008. He leads in maintaining high standards of supportive and effective modern gynaecological cancer treatments in all the network services across Hertfordshire and South Bedfordshire.
