Consultant urologist now a senior clinical lecturer at University of Hertfordshire

Mr Nikhil Vasdev, one of the Trust’s consultant urological surgeons, is set to take up an additional role from 3 September as a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire’s school of life and medical sciences. He will be focusing on robotic urological and uro-oncological research, an area in which Nikhil has been involved for some time.

Consultant nephrologist Professor Ken Farrington said:

“Nikhil has made a major contribution to the development of robotic surgery, locally and internationally, both clinically and from the research perspective. His appointment will facilitate his ongoing research with basic scientists and engineers in the University. The appointment also reflects the growing collaboration between the Trust and the University.”
