Elizabeth House is a purpose built 10 bed (all en-suite) private patient unit which has been providing high quality care for our private patients in the Hertfordshire and surrounding areas for over 18 years.
Based in the heart of Welwyn Garden City, Elizabeth House offers local private healthcare to all insured and self-paying patients. Situated within the QEII hospital, we offer a wide range of medical and surgical services. Our friendly, dedicated, professional team of nurses, housekeepers, catering and administration staff pride themselves in providing the highest standards of care for our patients.
Elizabeth House has 2 private outpatient consulting rooms, 10 en-suite inpatient rooms with large LCD/DVD TV screens, hotel services, quality cuisine, conservatory with courtyard garden and reserved parking for patients and their visitors (including blue badge holders).
Patients can choose to receive all their care privately in Elizabeth House, or simply book a private amenity room while still receiving their care on the NHS.
If you wish to be treated as a private patient you can arrange to be referred here either by your GP or the consultant of your choice.
