Sharing the Caring
Michael Sobell House, situated at Mount Vernon hospital in Northwood, Middlesex, provides specialist palliative care to patients who have cancer and other life threatening diseases, and supports their families and carers.
‘The Friends’ of Michael Sobell House support the work of the 16 bed NHS funded Hospice. The funds they raise help us:
- Run a day care unit
- Provide a counselling service
- Carry out research and audit
- Help with nursing at home
- Have an education team
All of the above services are provided free of charge, by raising an annual contribution of £1,200,000 through various fundraising activities.
Voluntary donations fund these vital contributions.
