The Lister Surgicentre is located on the Lister hospital site in Stevenage. It provides specialist orthopaedic care, including hip and knee joint replacement and shoulder joint surgery, day case and short stay general surgery and gynaecology, head and neck and Ophthalmology (eye) treatment.
The Surgicentre also provides an Urgent Eye Clinic for adult patients who are referred by their GP or by the local A&E departments. The urgent eye clinic is open:
Monday – Friday 09:00 -19:30
Saturday -09:30 – 12:30
Sunday – Closed
The Surgicentre is run by Clinicenta who provide NHS services to NHS patients. Staff are NHS employees who are seconded to the Surgicentre.
