Our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team are working closely with local GPs to provide a comprehensive range of emergency and non emergency services for both children and adults.

Inpatient and outpatient services are provided from the Lister Hospital, whilst QEII and Hertford County Hospital provide outpatient clinics only. Most operations currently take place at Lister Hospital while adult day case operations are also delivered at the Surgicentre and paediatric day case surgery at the QEII.

The ENT casualty clinic at the Lister Hospital is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for emergency GP referrals. For less severe cases, our specialist nurse can provide you with expert help on allergies, ear care and assessing the need for, and arranging, tonsil surgery.

There are five specialist ENT Consultants:

Mr Adam Frosh (sinus disorders; reshaping & reconstructing the nose; allergy and sinusitis; disorder of the voice; and general ENT conditions)

Mr James Quinn (otology & paediatric ENT)

Mr George Mochloulis (head & neck; thyroid)

Miss Marie Lyons (paediatric ENT; benign head and neck)

Mr Alexandros Tsikoudas (locum) (general ENT; rhinology; benign laryngology)

We also have two specialty doctors, Mr Michael & Mr Mettias, one staff grade doctor, Ms Purandare, and two specialist registrars. They are supported by an expert and dedicated team of nurses and administrative staff.
