Our team care for children under the age of 16 from across east and north Hertfordshire and some neighbouring areas.
The services include:
- Acute paediatrics – covers all services for all age groups of children who become unwell including accident and emergency.
- Newborn care – is provided for babies who are born in hospital or at home and require either intensive, high dependency or special care in hospital immediately after they are born.
- Community paediatrics – has a team of children’s doctors who are specialists in child development, disability and safeguarding children providing care for children and young people in our community.
