Coming into hospital can be a worrying experience, and the chaplains, as part of the hospital staff, are there to provide spiritual care for our patients, their families and friends. They are there to support our staff too.
The chaplains are not only available to churchgoers or religious people but offer a confidential and friendly ear to everyone.
In our team we have Church of England and Roman Catholic chaplains. Our chaplains also have contact with other faith communities locally.
We have chapels at the Lister and QEII, as well as at Mount Vernon hospital – which is run through Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust. Our chapels offer a place of quiet tranquillity where patients, visitors and staff are welcome. There is a service in the chapels at the Lister and QEII on Sundays at 11.15am.
