The Mount Vernon cancer centre is one of the top 5 cancer centres in the country. We are always looking for ways to advance the treatment of cancer.
At Mount Vernon we are:

• Providing chemotherapy in a new centre for clinical chemotherapy trials which will help keep us at the forefront of treatment. The CTRT centre provides patients with better surroundings and allows our research and non-research staff to work more closely together.
• Considering how to get the most out of our services for patients now and in the future. This involves the PCT carrying out a consultation to review our services.
• Opening the first CyberKnife in the UK which will start providing patients with radiotherapy from Autumn 2010.
