Biography

Undergraduate Medical Training at The London Hospital 1975-80 and Urological Training at Cambridge, Norwich and Oxford.

Consultant Urologist at Lister since 1994 with background in General Urology and Renal Transplantation.  Now one of 6-man department with a personal interest in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgical treatments for Kidney Cancer and Adrenal Gland disease.

Other interests include urinary tract infection, urology of renal failure and stones. Author of clinical research papers in bladder cancer, stones, UTI, and European Guidelines in Renal Cancer

For 3 years until April 2011 Clinical Director for Urology responsible for centralising the services across both sites of the Trust. Edinburgh College MRCS Examiner and still actively engaged in clinical research
