Biography

I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Trust since July 2006. I am based at the QEII Hospital, where I undertake all my trauma and elective surgery. I undertake bi-monthly out-patient clinics at QEII, Lister and Hertford County and a weekly fracture clinic at QEII.

I trained at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore, where I was taught to perform complex spinal and joint cases, and during this time was fortunate enough to be trained by both Orthopaedic and Neurosurgeons.
As a result I am able to offer all spinal procedures for back pain and sciatic type pain, including newer techniques. I also perform joint replacements and arthroscopy.

I was also fortunate to amass a number of prizes throughout my training, including the best written paper at my final Orthopaedic examinations. I have an interest in research of dynamic devices in the treatment of back and sciatic type pain.

I have given a number of interviews for Sky Sports News which allowed me the opportunity to offer an expert analysis of high profile sporting injuries. These include John Terry, David Beckham and Eduardo.
