Biography

I have been a consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery since 1992, carrying out general adult orthopaedics in addition to providing the local paediatric orthopaedic service. I undertake hip and knee replacements, arthoscopic knee surgery, minor hand and foot surgery, and the assessment of CDH, talipes and scoliosis. I ceased trauma in 2009 but continue fracture, elective adult and adult and paediatric and orthopaedic clinic. I contribute to the progressive improvement in the quality of local orthopaedic services, and keep up to date with ever-changing medical and surgical practice.
