Biography

I trained in London and did my MD thesis on IBD at St Thomas’ Hospital.  I have been a consultant since February 1996 and am currently secretary to the Clinical Service and Standards Committee for the BSG responsible for guideline production.  I am also an Associate Editor of GUT and am Regional Advisor for Gastroenterology in the East of England.

I have published widely on IBD and colorectal cancer.
